This is a silly comment! Are you implying that food can be stored indefinitely?And petrol/ diesel as crude has been existing below the land/ sea for millions of years!.
Aam Admi will not be able store Petrol and Diesel, particularly if you live places like Mumbai.
You cannot and should not store petrol/ diesel... these are highly inflammable and sometimes a spark from fan being switched on is enough to start off a fire.
Food buyers are plenty but not the petrol/diesel consumers. And money spend on food goes back in economy faster than that is spent on Petrol/Diesel.
